Using Video Conferencing with Bloom Growth Meetings

At Bloom Growth, we recognize that workspaces today can range from traditional offices to fully remote environments. To support seamless communication, Bloom Growth offers the option to integrate third-party video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. These tools are used solely for communication, as Bloom Growth’s platform already allows the meeting leader to guide the session, with all participants following along in real time, ensuring everyone stays on the same page without the need for screen sharing.

How to Add a Video Conference Link in the New Meeting Experience:

  1. If you're in the Legacy version of Bloom Growth, first click on "Open Bloom Beta" from the top right of the page.
  2. Next, click Meetings List.
  3. Select the name of the meeting.
  4. Click Video Conference at the bottom left of the screen.
  5. From there, you can enter the video conference link (URL).
  6. Click Save to store the link for future use.

Adding Zoom to Your Meeting in the Legacy Version:

In the Legacy version of Bloom Growth, only Zoom ID can be added to meetings. Here’s how you can store and use a Zoom Room ID for quick access:

  1. Click Meetings from the top menu bar.
  2. Click Go to Meeting to start the meeting.
  3. Click the Video Conference button at the bottom left.
  4. Choose either the Join Zoom button or the small up arrow.
  5. In the pop-up window, enter the Room ID (an 11-digit number) and the Meeting Name.
  6. If your Zoom meeting is password protected, enter the encrypted passcode following the Meeting ID, such as: 12345678912?pwd=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
  7. Click Save.
  8. When ready, click the Video Conference button again, select your saved Meeting Name, and click Open Zoom Meetings.
  9. The next time you join the meeting, click Rejoin Conference in the Video Conference tab. If you need to make changes to the Zoom ID, click Change Video Provider.

Zoom - Create a Recurring Zoom Meeting

  1. After the Zoom account is setup, go to https://zoom.us/
  2. Click SIGN IN at the top right and enter your credentials.
  3. Click on Schedule a Meeting at the top.
  4. Enter the Topic, such as Leadership Weekly Meeting.
  5. Check the box for Recurring Meeting.
  6. Click Recurrence in the drop-down and select No Fixed Time.
  7. Click Save (at the bottom of the page).
  8. You'll be directed to a confirmation page.
