Understanding Progressive Tracking for New Metrics in Bloom Growth

The Progressive Tracking feature in Bloom Growth allows you to monitor metrics over a specific period without relying on a static goal color. It is designed for a defined timeframe, and once that period ends, the tracking automatically stops. This feature is ideal for temporary or project-based goals where you need to track progress over a set period.

How Progressive Tracking Works

Progressive Tracking is useful when you have a clear target within a specific timeframe. For example, if your goal is to sell 20 subscriptions in a quarter, you can set Progressive Tracking from April 1st to July 1st, ensuring that your metric accurately tracks progress toward that goal.

Where You Can Create Metrics with Progressive Tracking

You can create and track metrics with Progressive Tracking from:

  • The Meeting itself
  • The Meeting Workspace
  • Your Primary Workspace

To access the correct workspace and create a Progressive Tracking metric, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Meetings List from the left navigation bar.
  2. Select the meeting where you want to add the metric.
  3. Choose whether to create the metric in the Meeting itself, the Meeting Workspace, or the Primary Workspace.

Important Considerations

  • Progressive Tracking cannot be applied to existing metrics. If you want to use this feature, you must create a new measurable.
  • Metrics with Progressive Tracking are not editable or reusable. Once the tracking period ends, it cannot be extended or modified.
  • After the completion week, a notification will appear at the top of the measurable’s settings window, giving you the option to either archive the metric or keep it in the metrics section.
  • If you need to track a similar metric again, you will need to create a new measurable with a fresh tracking period.

By using Progressive Tracking, you can effectively monitor temporary metrics that require structured tracking without long-term commitments.
