Sorting Your To-dos and Quarterly Priorities
Choose how the To-dos and Quarterly Priorities tiles on your personal workspace are ordered, and whether they group by meeting.
The To-dos and Quarterly Priorities tiles on your personal workspace share one sorting control. Use it to choose how the list is ordered, and whether it is grouped by meeting or shown as a single flat list.
Sort your to-dos
- Open your personal workspace and find the To-dos tile.
- Click the sort control in the tile header. It shows the name of the sort you are currently using, followed by a chevron.
- The menu opens under the heading Sort by. Choose one of: Due date, Newest, Oldest, Meeting: A-Z, Meeting: Z-A, Title: A-Z, or Title: Z-A.
There is one Sort by menu no matter how wide the tile is. Wide tiles no longer split it into two separate controls.
Flat list or grouped by meeting
The option you pick also decides how the list is laid out:
- Meeting: A-Z and Meeting: Z-A group the list under a header for each meeting. Those headers are links, so you can click one to open that meeting. Items that do not belong to a meeting sit under Personal, shown in italics.
- Every other option shows a single flat list in that order, across all of your meetings at once. Each row carries its meeting name as a caption underneath the title, and that caption links to the meeting.
The To-dos tile opens on Due date, so by default you see every to-do you own in due-date order, no matter which meeting it came from.
Sort your Quarterly Priorities
- On your personal workspace, find the Quarterly Priorities tile.
- Click the sort control in the tile header and choose an option under Sort by.
The Quarterly Priorities tile offers the same options as the To-dos tile, plus Status: Due date, Newest, Oldest, Status, Meeting: A-Z, Meeting: Z-A, Title: A-Z and Title: Z-A. Grouping behaves the same way: the two meeting options group the list under linked meeting headers, and every other option gives you one flat list with the meeting name as a caption on each row.
A Quarterly Priority that belongs to more than one meeting appears only once in a flat list. When you sort by meeting, it is grouped under its primary meeting.
Good to know
- Sorting changes only what you see on your own workspace. It does not change the order anyone else sees, and it does not change which meeting an item belongs to.
- Completed is not one of the Sort by options on the To-dos tile, because the Completed tab on that tile already separates finished to-dos.
