Accessing the Quarterly Planning Session

Use Your Weekly Meeting:

There’s no need to create a new meeting for quarterly planning. You can use your existing weekly meeting.

Switch to Quarterly Planning:

Go to your weekly meeting.

Click the down arrow in the meeting options menu.

Select Quarterly Planning from the dropdown.

Tip: The agenda will change to the quarterly format, and it will go back to your regular weekly agenda once the session is over.

How the Quarterly Planning Session Works
1. Start with a Check-In

Begin with the same check-in process as your weekly meetings, but focus on reflecting on the past quarter.
2. Review the Last Quarter

Talk about what worked well and what didn’t.

Use the Context-Aware To-Do and Issue buttons to save important action items and discussion points.
3. Look at the Business Plan

Long-term issues from your business plan will already appear in the Issues section.

These can be addressed later during the meeting.
4. Discuss Learning Opportunities

Talk about key topics to uncover insights that can guide the team’s goals for the next quarter.
5. Set Quarterly Goals

Archive goals from the previous quarter.

Work together to create new goals for the next quarter.

Finalize everything during the session so there’s no extra work after the meeting.
6. Resolve Key Issues

Focus on important challenges your team needs to address.

Long-term issues from the business plan will be labeled "Long Term" for easy identification.
7. Manage To-Dos

Add action items for the next weekly meeting.

For example, you might add a to-do to create milestones for a new goal before your next meeting.
8. Wrap Up the Session

Add any last-minute to-dos.

Rate the meeting and complete the Concluding Actions section.
