Quarterly Check-In in Bloom Growth

The Quarterly Prep Document in Bloom Growth is a structured pre-meeting form designed to help teams reflect before the Quarterly Session. It allows each participant to share meaningful insights, highlight wins, and identify challenges so that the session can remain focused and productive.

Note: This feature is not enabled by default. If you would like to use the Quarterly Prep Document, please send a request to help@bloomgrowth.com. Once activated, it will be available to all participants in the meeting.

How to Assign the Quarterly Prep Document

The Meeting leader can assign the Quarterly Prep to the team. To do so:

  1. Click Meetings List from the left navigation bar

  2. Click the name of the Quarterly Meeting

  3. Click the three dots at the top left, next to the agenda

  4. Select Attach a Quarterly Prep

Once this is selected, a pop-up message will appear allowing the meeting leader to:

  • Set a due date

  • Automatically create a To-do for all participants to complete the form

It is highly recommended to assign the Quarterly Prep at least 7 days before the meeting. This gives team members enough time to reflect and complete the form with intention.

What’s Included in the Quarterly Prep Document?

The form is divided into three parts:

1. Introduction and Instructions

This section welcomes users to the Quarterly Session and explains how the form works. It outlines what each part of the form will focus on and sets expectations.

This section is informational only. There are no questions to complete here.

2. Wins and Highlights

Participants are prompted to reflect on the past 90 days, including:

  • What they expect from the Quarterly Session

  • The most meaningful personal, professional, organizational, and departmental experiences

  • What they enjoy most about the Bloom Growth Operating System

  • Recognition of one to three people in the organization and why they stand out

This section is meant to start the session on a positive note, encouraging recognition and celebration.

3. Obstacles and Opportunities (O&O)

In this section, users are asked to share what is not working in the organization and what could be improved. Topics include:

  • Organization-wide challenges

  • Department-specific obstacles

  • People-related concerns

  • Ideas to increase growth or profit in the next 6 to 18 months

  • One key process that, if improved, could significantly impact efficiency and quality

This input helps shape the O&O (Issues) list that will be discussed during the session.

Additional Discussion Prompts

During the Quarterly Meeting, the facilitator may ask participants to reflect on two additional topics:

  • Whether any team member is not aligned with the organization's values or is struggling in their role

  • If there are any uncomfortable topics that the team has been avoiding or postponing

These questions are asked live during the session and are not recorded in the form.

The Quarterly Prep Document is a powerful tool for alignment, clarity, and progress. By giving your team time to reflect in advance, you create space for deeper discussions and intentional decisions during the session.

Take advantage of this process to strengthen your culture, highlight success, and bring important issues to light.
