Functions and Roles


Important

  • The Org Chart is a live document. All the changes will be automatically saved. Please back up your information by Generating a Printout before you make any changes.
  • Functions and roles can be copied by using the "Clone node from the Org Chart" button, located at the bottom of the boxes.
  • Multiple users can be added to a single box.
  • Only Admins in the organization can add/remove boxes and update the Org Chart. 

Adding Functions and Roles to your Org Chart


Add a function to a box
  1. Click Org Chart in the top menu bar (or People if the People Tools are enabled, followed by clicking Org Chart).
  2. Click into a box.
  3. In the right-side panel, type a position title into the Function section.
Remove a function from a box
  1. Click Org Chart in the top menu bar (or People if the People Tools are enabled, followed by clicking Org Chart).
  2. Click into a box.
  3. In the right-side panel, delete the function text. Note that removing the function title does not remove the roles. Each box along with its function and roles is unique to it.
Adding a role to a box
  1. Click Org Chart in the top menu bar (or People if the People Tools are enabled, followed by clicking Org Chart).
  2. Click into a box.
  3. In the right-side panel, use the plus button to add a role.
Remove a role from a box
  1. Click Org Chart in the top menu bar (or People if the People Tools are enabled, followed by clicking Org Chart).
  2. Click into a box.
  3. In the right-side panel, use the x to remove a role.
Copy functions and roles
  1. Click Org Chart in the top menu bar (or People if the People Tools are enabled, followed by clicking Org Chart).
  2. Click into a box.
  3. Click the "Clone node from the Org Chart" button at the bottom of the box.
  4. A new box with the exact functions and roles will be added to the right-hand side of the box.
