User Management - Add users

Important User Management Information

Only account admins can send an invite or remove a user.

A unique email can only be registered once per account. If a registered user profile is deleted, a new profile using the same email cannot be registered. The deleted profile must be restored in order to use the previously registered email again.

Important User Status Information

  1. Click the drop-down by your name/icon at the top right of the workspace.
  2. Click Manage Organization.
  3. Click Members
  • If a user has a checkmark next to their name, they are fully registered and will count towards the invoice
  • Users with an envelope next to their name will not count towards the invoice. There are 4 envelope statuses:
    • Blue envelope - User has been sent an invite but has not accepted.
    • Gold envelope - User has not been sent an invite but an email is associated with the profile.
    • White envelope - User is currently a placeholder and no email is associated with the profile.
    • Red envelope - Invalid email address.
      • Click the envelope to populate a box where an email address can be verified or entered and invites can be sent or resent use the Send Invites button at the top right of the user list to send mass invites.
      • Be sure the Resend Invite: checkbox is checked
      • If the user is still not receiving the email invite, use the following link, which is on the right-hand side of the popup after clicking the envelope: Email not being sent? Try Alternate method.
      • To ensure a user receives their invite, please be sure there are no email restrictions for the following email/domain: support@bloomgrowth.com

Edit Meeting Section

  1. Click Meetings in the menu bar.
  2. Click Edit Meeting on the gear icon button to the right of your meeting.
  3. Click Attendees on the left.
  4. Click the blue '+'.
  • To add a new user, click the OR CREATE NEW on the top right.
  • Fill in Name and Email
  • If the Position Titles and Supervisor have already been added to the Org Chart, choose them from the drop-down menus. Otherwise, the user can be added to the Org Chart later: Org Chart -  Functions and Roles.
  • Checkboxes
    • Placeholder Users will not be able to login, but can still be listed on the Org Chart. These users will not count towards the invoice but can be converted to fully registered users by adding an email and sending an email invite out (see Placeholder User Status below for more information)
    • On Leadership Team: This is a category solely for marketing purposes related to Bloom Growth. If a user is designated as part of the Leadership Team, they will receive all emails sent to this specific group. If this section was chosen in error, please contact help@bloomgrowth.com to opt out of these emails. 
    • People Tools Only is to add a user who will only have access to the People Tools portion of Bloom Growth to complete their Quarterly 1:1. click this link for details: People Tools
    • Send Email Invite will automatically send an email invite after hitting Save. If left unchecked, head over to the Manage Organization section, Members, click the Envelope, and hit Save to send the email invite (see User Invite Status below).

    5. Click Save to complete adding a new user

Note: 

  • To ensure a user receives their invite, please be sure there are no email restrictions for the following email/domain: support@bloomgrowth.com 
  • If you use the placeholder user checkbox, an email will not be required and the person will NOT receive an invite to Bloom Growth. 

Manage Organization Section

  1. Click the drop-down by your name/icon
  2. Click Manage Organization
  3. Click Add User
  • Fill in Name and Email
  • If the Position Titles and Supervisor have already been added to the Org Chart, choose them from the drop down menus. Otherwise, the user can be added to the Org Chart later: Org Chart - Functions and Roles.
  • Checkboxes
    • Placeholder Users will not be able to login, but can still be listed on the Org Chart. These users will not count towards the invoice, but can be converted to fully registered users by adding an email and sending an email invite out (see Placeholder User Status below for more information)
    • Leadership Team Member is for marketing purposes only
    • People Tools Only is to add a user who will only have access to the People Tools portion of Bloom Growth, see here for additional information
    • Send Email Invite will automatically send an email invite after the user is created. If left unchecked see User Invite Status below.
  • Attached to Meetings - Automatically add a user to meetings by typing the name of the meeting(s)
  • Click Save
  • To ensure a user receives their invite, please be sure there are no email restrictions for the following email/domain: support@bloomgrowth.com
