When it is time to begin a new quarter or year in Bloom Growth, there are a few simple steps you can take to prepare. Please see some of your options below.

Update the Current Quarter

The first step when starting a new quarter is to update the current quarter. Have an account admin follow these steps:

  1. Click the drop-down menu next to your name/icon at the top right of the workspace.
  2. Click Manage Organization.
  3. Click the Advanced Tab.
  4. Scroll down to Settings.
  5. Update the Current Quarter setting.

Archiving and Creating New Goals

Another important step to take when starting a new quarter or year would be to archive your old goals and create new ones. Please see this link for detailed steps on creating and archiving goals: Goals - Creating, Archiving, Restoring, Sharing, Moving, and Changing the Owner of the goals

Updating the Business Plan

The Business Plan may be another area where updates are needed. Before updating the Business Plan, it may be a good idea to make a backup copy: Generate a Printout For Your Quarterly Mapping

Updating the Weekly Meeting Agenda

If you need to make structural changes to your Weekly Meeting agenda, please see this link: Editing a Meeting Agenda

Updating the Metrics

Lastly, you may need to update your Metrics. This may entail archiving your previous quarter or yearly metrics (to start with no previous data in the metrics cells), updating the goal, or changing who is responsible for a metric. Please see the below links for details on updating your metrics.

How to Change the Owner of a Measurable

If you will be removing or archiving a measurable from a Weekly Meeting because you no longer want to see historical data in the cells, it may be helpful to add the previous quarter or year in the measurable title, For example, '2020 Sales Total' instead of just 'Sales Total'.
